Well the week-end is here. It seems like it takes so long to get here.
I have been addicted to watching Law And Order SVU. I am up to season 5 now. I just can’t stop….. We are members of Netflix, so in addition to getting movies in the mail, you can also watch movies and TV shows. It is awesome, no commercials, and if you gotta hit the kitchen for snacks, just press pause. I haven’t watched regular TV the past few days.
Well I will probably be blessed this week-end with my monthly gift for being a woman. Not to mention my birthday is coming up. I sure hope I get it soon, nothing like having your period on your birthday. I think my luck stinks. If you look back you can see what happened to me when we went to Vegas in March. My first day there I was blessed with it. So we’ll see. I have been alittle grouchy, but not bad this time. So far so good…..
I went to my Jazz class this morning. It was so darn tempting just to sleep in, but I resisted and got my butt out of bed. And of course today was grocery day…. So I have been busy. I finished canning my pickles. My whole house smelled like vinegar….Yikes… My next project will be peaches. I am on a canning frenzy. Nothing like eating something home made or canned. My garden is doing pretty good. I have been getting a few tomatoes here and there.
I think I am going to head to bed earlier. I fell asleep on the couch around 1 am. I woke up at 4:30 and went back to bed. And would you believe it I couldn’t fall back asleep. I tossed and turned. I was hot then cold. It was horrible. I think I finally drifted off around 7:30 am then the freakin alarm went off at 8:15 am. I felt like whipping it out the window….Well maybe I am abit irritable, not much though…. I guess that’s why my husband hides in his office a few days each month…I would hide from myself if I could.
Well have a great week-end. I am going to do my best. I am not going to let the man get me down…..
