Well if you read my post from Friday you will have known I missed my son’s call. I also forgot to add that when I tried to replay the message on our voice mail, I couldn’t remember the pass code so I guess I punched in the wrong one too many times and they shut down the voice mail. I couldn’t even listen to the message and now no-one could leave a message. I thought to myself can things get any worse. Well this is about 10 pm at night. So I called Sprint, because I needed to have the voice mail reset. Well I was on hold for 23 long minutes. Well finally the call was being transferred only for me to get a busy signal because someone there hung up on me. So I called back in and guess what the office was now closed. So I guess it was quitting time for them there and anyone left on hold was hung up on. How nice.
Well needless to say I was so pissed off not to mention so upset because of missing the phone call. So I got up on Saturday morning and called Sprint again. This time a very nice woman was able to help me out and we got it all fixed. I also woke up Saturday morning with a stomach bug.
I swear the night before if someone from Sprint was right in front of me I would have punched them right in the face. I am not a violent person but I was so frustrated being hung up on. I am sure many of you can relate when this happens.
So anyway in spite of everything the voice mail got fixed and I got a letter in the mail from my son with his address. So even if I felt crappy there was a small light at the end of the tunnel. He said he was doing fine. He said that on Sundays is when they call, so I can send his cell phone charger. Evidently on Sunday’s they are allowed to use their cell phones. So I already have his charger ready and am writing him a letter to send tomorrow. He already had his cell phone with him but not the charger.
I have decided to park my butt at home today. In case he calls I am not going to miss his call again.
Well that is the highlights of my week-end. I do feel better today and am trying to catch up on stuff I didn’t do yesterday.
I wonder does these kinds of things happen to anyone else?? Sometimes I think I am only the one with rotten luck at times.
Well I am looking on the bright side right now. I got a letter from my son and he may call today…So things are looking up for me…..Cross your fingers….
