Well I can only ask for your forgiveness my friends. I cannot believe how long it has been since I posted…Where does the time go….
The holidays are fast approaching..I am alittle sad about this coming Thanksgiving. This will be the first Thanksgiving in 19 years that my younger son will not be with us.He unfortunately was unable to get leave for Thanksgiving. Of all the dumb luck, their class is the only one not allowed to leave. So what can I say.I am upset and I know that day will be sad. But we are going to call him on speaker and talk with him.
Let’s see what has been going on. Well my older son is doing great on his own. My mom had been sick she found out she has kidney stones, so she has had a rough few weeks. I had been busy helping her. Now I have to take her to get a biopsy tomorrow. The doctor found a mark on her back that he wanted to have checked. So I am hoping there is nothing wrong. It seems like there can be such sadness during the holidays. But we will get through it. My son in the Army is doing well. He has taken 3 tests and has scored in the 90’s on all three. He actually had his locker broken in too and his watch and notebook stolen. You can use your notes on tests and he came to class one day and his was gone. So he had to take his test without his notes and he said he got the highest grade in the class. So he was quite happy about that. He has been pretty sick. He has had a terrible cold. And of course when it comes to the military, they leave it up to you. So he has been taking some medicine and is feeling much better.
It broke my heart to know he was sick and I couldn’t do a damn thing. I just wanted to go there and kidnap him and bring him home…
Well I guess I don’t sound very positive. I will say I am indeed grateful for everything in my life. My family and friends are very important to me. I know things always work out…
I have been doing well. Keeping busy. And I quit my job. I found out that it just wasn’t important. I hated being away from home and I missed my husband. We have always been working together and I found out when I was working away from home, I couldn’t wait to get home to be in his arms. So I said that’s it, I’m done..
The weather has been so cold. Yikes…It snuck up on us. I find myself wishing it was soon summer. I know I have along way to go…
I actually been working on a new project. My husband installed Photo-shop CS4 on my computer and I am having such fun with my pictures. I am learning something new every day. So when I take pictures it is fun to play around with them and make them look better.
I will add some in my next post…..
