Hard to believe it’s Wednesday already. Christmas is coming up rather quickly. I am so excited as my soldier is coming home for 2 weeks( crossing fingers). With the military you just never know what stuff they will pull. He already has his paperwork done, so I am hopeful.
I was just thinking that I had never posted any graduation pictures from Basic Training. I had posted the family day pictures, but I wanted to wait so I just didn’t bombard everyone with so many pictures…
I thought people would get sick of it and think oh no, more pictures, so……look for them in the next few posts…
So I will ask the big question are you ready for Christmas?? My answer is no, not yet. The Christmas tree is going up this week-end. Not sure if I will put the artificial one or go for a real one. The last few years we have gotten a real one. So I am leaning towards a real one… I am looking forward to Christmas, but I just hate the idea of dragging all that stuff from the basement to the top floor. Yikes what a job.. Once I am all done I look back and think WOW how beautiful. It is just getting to that point. My husband says to me don’t try to do it all in one day. He says to break it down, one day move the living room around and get that ready and the place where you want the tree. Then the next day bring up all the decorations and get them ready and later that day we will get the tree. He is a very wise man. So women listen to your husbands…..lol…. Then once that is all done, then work on decorating inside the house and after that the outside…. It will be done in less than a week, but just getting started is the problem. Well I’m doing it this week. Starting tomorrow I am doing Step 1, so by the end of the week-end I should have Christmas inside my house completed……
Off course then after that comes the baking…I make peanut butter fudge and cookies. Well I will not think of that yet until my tree is up….Although I love to bake I must say. I know I am crazy, but its something about being in the kitchen listening to the radio and making something home-made, not store bought. It’s very relaxing for me..
Anyway hope you had a great day….
I have to include this picture my husband took of me. We both have been playing around with photo-shop. Anyway the picture of me was taken at a different time, I was not posing by the car. And the car which is a mustang my son has, is not green it was actually blue.. It is really amazing what you can do with it. The picture is actually me, no changes….My husband says I’m perfect the way I am….What a great guy..
