I am finally up and around this Sat afternoon…With all of our new shows we produce now, I usually never get to bed till at the latest 2 am..I was really tired yesterday and I found myself falling asleep as soon as I rested my head on my pillow..

I look outside and it looks absolutely gorgeous..The air feels warm. I am glad the rain passed on through. Isn’t it funny how the weather affects our mood. When it is rainy and dreary out, we often feel that way ourself. When the sun is shining and bright. We feel happy and uplifted. I think alot of it has to do with the sun. It feels warm on our skin. It makes you feel alive. Not to mention it is healthy for our body and our body does need it..

Anyway I am working on getting my housework and paper work done.  The hubby and I are maybe planning an afternoon of mini-golfing. We are getting rather good at it. So it’s anyone’s game today..It is so pretty and too nice to spend the afternoons indoors. So take a break from your work and step outside in the sunshine today. I bet when you come in your mood will be so much better..Try it…

I haven’t deen up-dating my blog lately..It seems like between Twitter and Face-Book I often miss posting in my blog..

So here I am..Yikes where do I begin..Things have been busy as usual..I am getting over a sinus infection. That really had me down..I am feeling much better and back on track..

My sister had a picnic for Labor Day and we had a blast..It was nice to see some of my family and reconnect..I actually got to see for the first time my nephew’s baby..I have no clue what that baby is to me..I think maybe I would be his Great- Aunt, or something like that…I can never figure that stuff out..

I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on my girlfriend and me, threatening our lives.

You also asked for my girlfriend’s purse and earrings.

I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message.

First, I’d like to apologize for your embarrassment when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. The evening was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason.

My girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 .45 ACP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening.

Obviously, you agree that it is a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head, wasn’t it?

I know it probably wasn’t fun walking back to wherever you’d come from bare footed since I made you leave your shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. [That prevented you from calling or running to your buddies to come help mug us again].

After I called your mother, or “Momma” as you had her listed in your cell, I explained the entire episode of what you’d done. Then I went and filled up my gas tank as well as four other people’s in the gas station on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful!

I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go’s, along with all the cash in your wallet. [That made his day!]

I then threw your wallet into the big pink “pimp mobile” that was parked at the curb … after I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver’s side of the car.

Later, I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cellphone. Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what’s going on with that?

Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA’s office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target. The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number, etc).

In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you . . . but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider the career path you’ve chosen to pursue in life.

Remember, next time you might not be so lucky.

During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall – she assured
everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) .she said
she had just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she
appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest
of the evening

Ingrid’s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been
taken to the hospital – (at 6:00 pm Ingrid passed away.) She had
suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs
of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don’t die.
they end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3
hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke…totally. He
said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then
getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is
tough.

RECOGNIZING A STROKE

Thank God for the sense to remember the ‘3′ steps, STR . Read and Learn!

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify.
Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke
victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to
recognize the symptoms of a stroke.

Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three
simple questions:

S *Ask the individual to SMILE.
T *Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(i.e. It is sunny out today.)
R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS…

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency
number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

New Sign of a Stroke ——– Stick out Your Tongue

NOTE: Another ’sign’ of a stroke is this: Ask the person to ’stick’
out his tongue.. If the tongue is ‘crooked’, if it goes to one side or
the other, that is also an indication of a stroke.

I thought this was important to share. If more people are aware of the signs we can be more pro-active which in turns saves peoples lives..Please share with your friends and family. This may one day save someone you know and love..

The mother of a seriously ill baby who died after doctors were given permission to withhold treatment is planning to sue the hospital, it emerged today.

Luke Winston-Jones, who had the rare genetic disorder Edwards Syndrome, died aged 10 months in Liverpool’s Alder Hey children’s hospital last November.

Doctors believed it was not in Luke’s best interest to be kept alive through aggressive medical intervention, and in October last year the High Court granted permission to withhold such treatment.

Luke’s mother, 36-year-old Ruth Winston-Jones, of Holyhead, north Wales, has always believed more could have been done to save her son.

She will meet a solicitor today to discuss options for pursuing a claim of clinical negligence.

She said: “This isn’t about money. It’s about getting justice for my son.”
